Terminal UI
Your terminal,
your research lab.
An interactive ratatui operator console for running autonomous workers locally: inspect the worker tree, follow live events, review memory and durable jobs, steer active runs, and handle questions or approval gates without leaving the terminal.
Capabilities
Operate the worker from one screen
Token deltas, tool calls, worker lifecycle changes and findings appear as the runtime publishes them.
Use --replay to inspect a stored session: worker tree, tool calls and findings are rendered from persisted events.
Inspect the semantic memory store while a worker runs: absorbed facts, search results and durable knowledge updates.
Browse background jobs, inspect attempt logs, cancel active work and rerun completed or stuck jobs from the terminal.
Send additional instructions to redirect an active worker session without restarting it. Peer coordination remains available through hub messaging.
Workers can pause for operator input or governance approval before a side effect. Handle the decision inline while other background jobs continue.
How it works
Four modes, one binary
Launch
fathom tui opens the operator console with task input, event log and worker tree.
Watch
Workers publish progress live — tool calls, findings, token usage and state changes appear as the runtime receives them.
Steer
Send instructions to redirect workers, then answer questions or approve governed side effects when prompted.
Review
Inspect persisted outputs, jobs and memory from the same interface; export or hand off results when your workflow requires it.
CLI flags
One command, full control
The TUI uses the same self-hosted worker runtime as headless runs — configured tools, profiles, governance and persistence apply consistently.
# Launch the interactive TUI

# Replay a past session
