Web Dashboard

One screen,
full visibility.

A single-file HTML dashboard embedded in the server binary — sessions, agent tree, memory stats, background jobs and a live SSE event feed. No external dependencies.

Five panels

Everything at a glance

Sessions

All research sessions with status badges, agent count, token usage and query preview. Click to drill into agent tree.

Agent tree

Hierarchical view of all agents grouped by parent — role badges, status, task description and token count. Indentation shows parent-child relationships.

Memory stats

Embedding model, scope counts (agent/user/run active, superseded, archived), entity graph node and edge counts.

Background jobs

Durable job queue — task description, status badge, attempt counter (current/max). Submit, cancel and rerun from the UI.

Live events

Real-time SSE event stream — agent spawn, tool calls, findings, state changes. Monospace log viewer with auto-scroll, capped at 200 entries.

Features

Built for operators

API key auth

Set a key from FATHOM_API_KEYS to protect API requests; the dashboard keeps it in localStorage for convenience.

Auto-refresh

All panels poll the API every 5 seconds. SSE events arrive instantly.

Responsive

Two-column grid collapses to single column below 900px. Works on tablets and phones.

Dark theme

GitHub-dark color palette. Single-file HTML — no external CSS or JS dependencies.

Access

One endpoint, zero config

The embedded single-file dashboard is served at GET /dashboard when you run fathom serve. No separate Astro build, npm install, or CDN is needed.

# Start the server
fathom serve --port 8080

# Open in browser
open http://localhost:8080/dashboard

# The dashboard auto-connects to:
# GET /api/v1/sessions — session list
# GET /api/v1/agents — agent tree
# GET /api/v1/memories/stats — memory stats
# GET /api/v1/jobs — background jobs
# GET /api/v1/events — SSE live feed
