Fathom combines the TUI and HTTP/MCP interfaces with language-server code intelligence for repository work.
LSP integration
Fathom includes an lsp tool for code intelligence. It detects the project
language, checks for the matching language server, and connects over stdio.
Supported operations include document symbols, go-to-definition, find
references, hover information, and workspace symbol search.
The integration currently maps common project languages to these servers:

When a server is missing, Fathom attempts the available package-manager or
rustup installation path, then reports a clear error if it cannot be found.
The tool is registered with the normal tool registry and can be used from
fathom run, fathom tui, fathom serve, or fathom mcp-serve.
